The Massachusetts Dispatch exists to shine a light on exceptional local businesses that serve skating, hockey and winter recreation in our region. We started because enthusiasts and families were making decisions without enough reliable information about where to find quality service and expert guidance. Too often, choosing a coach, a shop or a rink comes down to chance or word-of-mouth from one or two friends.

Every business we mention has been assessed against standards that put service and competence first. We look for staff who can answer a specific question with a specific answer, not a generic pitch.
